About Allegro

Allegro Volunteers

On Sunday December 17th, Allegro Business Products had the extreme pleasure of volunteering for Shop with a Hero and Stuff a Truck with the Friends of Holly Springs Police Foundation (FHSPF).

FHSPF is a non-profit and strives to elevate the community through partnerships.  Each year the FHSPF along with their sponsors and volunteers give Christmas to children in the Holly Springs, GA community.  Each child is paired with a hero and volunteer to shop at the Holly Springs Wal-Mart location.  Each child gets to see Santa and tell him what they would like and have their picture taken.  It was wonderful to see the smiles on each child’s face and have the opportunity to volunteer with some great people.

School Supply Express Delivered to RM Moore Elementary School

I had the extreme pleasure of delivering school supplies with Shelia Garrison of LGE Community Credit Union to Mrs. Jan Adamson at RM Moore Elementary School.  While there I learned some interesting facts about RM Moore – they have about 330 students and cover the most mileage among Cherokee County Schools.

Lori Flink, Jan Adamson, Shelia Garrison

School supplies for the School Supply Express are collected and delivered by the Cherokee Chamber Education Committee each year.  Deliveries are done in December before Christmas break so when the children come back to school they have fresh supplies.   Mrs. Adamson said, “this is the time we really need the school supplies.  We will use them to replenish classroom supplies and give to new students enrolling.”

Allegro Business Products Sponsors Tree at Holiday Lights of Hope

We chose a flag theme this year and used stress balls for part of our decorations.  Great use of Promotional Products to get our brand out there.

Leadership Cherokee Class 2017

WHAT IS LEADERSHIP CHEROKEE?

As strong leadership is a prime ingredient in the continuing development of any community, the Chamber’s Leadership Cherokee program educates existing and emerging leaders. If Cherokee County is to achieve its potential, people must be aware of the social, economic, educational and governmental needs of the community.  Participants profit from getting to know each other and from the formal and informal exchange of ideas and experiences. They gain knowledge from the overall program on many subjects, thus preparing them for a more active leadership role in the community.

Over the nine-month long program, Leadership Cherokee participants are required to attend an orientation, a retreat, eight class sessions and a graduation ceremony.  Commitment to 100% attendance is required of each participant. Concluding its 28th year, Leadership Cherokee boasts 550 Alumni.
