It’s Time: Take your Writing Instruments to the Next Level (Part 1)
For years writing instruments have been the top purchased and used promotional product. That hasn’t changed they are inexpensive, easy to give away and everyone uses them. But I want to give you a new way of thinking about writing instruments and what you should think about when purchasing.
First of all there are so many different types of writing instruments – not just pens. Step out of the box of just a plain pen.

- Pens with Screwdrivers
There are literally thousands of different types of pens.
When you are looking at purchasing a pen to represent your business I often hear, “I just need a cheap pen”. Yes, we are all looking for the best value in the products we are purchasing but trust me, you don’t want a “cheap pen”. The definition of value is the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.
Remember when you hand out this pen it is representing your business. You want a pen you would use. You know “THE” pen that everyone in the office snags when you’re not looking. Because if it’s a pen you use it’s likely it’s a pen that the prospective clients you are giving the pen to will use it also. Which means staying top of mind of your clients and prospective clients.
Tip: Make sure to leave at least one pen every time you sign a receipt. This will give you more views of your company by everyone who uses the pen after you leave it.
